You can bake, roast coffee, make tea and spice blends, mix nuts, make candy, or make jams and preserves.\nPART 2 – 11/14 Intro to Micro Enterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO)\n(Note: this options is for for Solano and other MEHKO-approved counties only; MEHKO permitting has NOT been adopted by Napa County at this time).\nHave you been looking for a way to share your cooking or food traditions with your neighborhood and community? Or maybe you’re a food entrepreneur looking to start your food business starting out of your home?\nThe Micro Enterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO) available in Solano and select counties may be a good fit – and we can help you get started!\nThe MEHKO permit allows chefs to prepare, cook and serve food prepared in their home kitchen directly to consumers, either through delivery, take-out or dine-in at the house.
